I’m a husband, a father of grown kids who’ve somehow become actual adults, and an Air Force veteran. Photography brings together two parts of my life that have always fit naturally: the discipline to prepare and the curiosity to see where a moment leads.

After earning my associate degree in photography, I built my work around people and the stories they want to tell. At a wedding, I’m watching for the look between two people when everyone else is distracted, or the laughter that starts just after the formal portrait is finished. With a brand, I want to understand who’s behind it, what they care about, and how that can come through in a photograph.

My approach is straightforward: prepare carefully, pay attention, and give people room to be themselves. I’ll offer direction when it helps. I also know when to step back. Feeling comfortable in front of a camera often begins with knowing the person behind it is listening.

I care about beautiful light and a well-composed image. But what makes a photograph worth keeping is something personal—a familiar expression, a connection, a detail you might otherwise have forgotten. That’s what I’m looking for every time I pick up a camera.
